Quality Assurance Engineer, Lead

Key Role:

Play a key role as a team member in the Booz Allen quality organization overseeing the entire quality program for the firm, including applicable certifications and ratings, such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and CMMI. Participate in the goals of the program through specific duties, including providing quality management oversight for certified projects and programs, participating in the planning, execution, and follow up activities for ISO 9001 audits, applying experience with technical delivery for assisting with the assessment and mitigation of project risks at start-up and throughout the project life cycle, and performing quality management review proposals for the adequacy of technical content and quality provisions. Develop and deliver training to disseminate required knowledge among quality team members and users of the quality systems, as needed, analyze the development of new processes, and support the maintenance and transition of current processes to an integrated format and tool. Provide input on and review of process documentation and support similar tasks to achieve the goals of the quality program. This position may be delivered from any of the following locations: Panama City, FL, San Diego, CA, Westborough, MA, or Colorado Springs, CO.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience in a quality role

-Experience with delivering engineering and science solutions as a technical project member, technical lead, or project manager

-Experience with supporting and conducting ISO 9001 audits

-Experience with risk assessment to support technical project delivery

-Knowledge of US government contract technical products and services

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with process development in a highly collaborative environment

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint

-Experience in interfacing with technical and management personnel at all levels of responsibility

-Experience with additional models and standards, including CMMI and AS9100

-Experience with a process modeling tool, including Visio or similar

-Experience with providing proposal support for required quality topics

-Experience with providing training support for quality processes and implementation

-Possession of excellent interpersonal and analytical skills

-Secret clearance

-Completion of the ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor or AS9100 Rev D Lead Auditor course
